"With a new director, a new level of fame for stars Kristen Stewart andRobert Pattinson, and a new set of washboard abs for Taylor Lautner, the second film in the Twilightseries, due Nov. 20, promises even more swooning-opportunities for its fans. This week’s double issue ofEntertainment Weekly places Stewart and Lautner on the cover, while revealing secrets from the New Moon set inside.
New Moon, a far different beast thanTwilight, is steeped in heartbreak, focusing on the recovery Bella (Stewart) undergoes after Edward (Pattinson) breaks her heart and her new feelings for her friend Jacob (Lautner). . .
. . . And how did the Bella-Jacob best-friend chemistry play out on set? “We have that relationship,” she says. “It’s lamely cute.”
Taylor trained hard to bulk up for the role of the budding werewolf. “My body fat got so low that we actually needed to increase it a little bit,” he says. “My trainer would be like, ‘Go have a huge milk shake just so I can get a thousand calories into your body.’”
Stewart thinks the new film will be beefier, too: “[Making Twilight] was much more of a fight,” she says. “We needed to make something commercial but stay true to the book. We didn’t have enough money. It was all very impulsive, and that’s what I love about that movie…But I think New Moon is gonna be even better.”

"We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the Studio. Her decision to discuss her version of the scheduling challenges publicly has forced the Studio to set the record straight and correct the facts. . ."
"The screams from fans were deafening when the cast of theTwilight sequel, New Moon, hit Comic-Con International in San Diego on July 23. But the crowd could practically hear a pin drop when a certain question was posed at a news conference with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart andTaylor Lautner. Addressing Kristen's relationship with Rob, a reporter noted, "You guys have great chemistry on film roman tically -- is there any chemistry off camera?"
Instead of denying their romance (whichLife & Style was the first to report), a clearly annoyed Kristen chose not to answer. But her relationship with Rob, which ended in July, was the only thing off-limits as the cast whetted appetites for New Moon, which hits theaters on Nov. 20. "It's the beginning of a love triangle," said Taylor, discussing how his character, Jacob, falls for Bella after she loses Edward.

Bryce Dallas Howard will be replacing Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria in the third installment of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. However, Summit's story on the replacement and Rachelle's story are two totally different views on the matter. Los Angeles – July 28, 2009 – Summit Entertainment announced today that Bryce Dallas Howard will take over the role of “Victoria” in the studio’s upcoming production of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. Actress, Rachelle Lefevre, who portrayed the character in TWILIGHT as well as the upcoming release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, will not continue in the role due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment the actor has made. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE will start filming in Vancouver this coming August. . . “We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” said Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions. “Rachelle brought “Victoria” to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.” [Summit]"
E! Online reports for Rachelle: "I was stunned by Summit's decision to recast the role of Victoria for Eclipse. I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. My commitment to Barney's Version is only 10 days. Summit picked up my option for Eclipse. Although the production schedule for Eclipse is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those 10 days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10-day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part. . .I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for theTwilight audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I've received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit's surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of Eclipse only the very best."

"They’re loved and adored wherever they go, and last night (July 23) the cast of “New Moon” was in full force at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con.
The crowd went wild as hotties like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Taylor Lautner, and Christian Serratos all showed up to promote their upcoming flick at the massive convention.
And according to Greene, the dynamic between Robert and Kristen makes “New Moon” an extra-special film. “The chemistry is incredible,” she told press.
Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg concurs. “They’re just people you can feel like you can relate to. That sets them apart in a lot of ways.”'

So what's the inside info on this whole love mess?
Seems we here at the A.T. fell into the exact trap the studio suits were trying to set up.
"Right now, it's all about Taylor and Kristen," relayed an inside source involved in the selling of the whole Twilight movie phenomenon.
"People are pushing them together in the media and behind the scenes because the studio knows the whole world is watching all the time," dishes Deep Twi. "Rob and Kristen? No."'
