People Magazine released a special New Moon collector's edition today:"Twilight is about first love; New Moon is about heartbreak," says the film's director Chris Weitz.
"This is a severely emotional movie," Stewart says.
But it's not all about the drama. "It's a pretty hot movie," says Ashley Greene, who thinks Stewart and Lautner "have this undeniable chemistry."
"I get nervous trying to represent Team Jacob in the right way," Lautner admits. "This guy [Pattinson] is some pretty good competition."

"What people told me [when I signed on to Twilight ] was that there would be a lot of fan girls, people who love the books," said Stewart. "But people don't tell you that as long as you're living in Los Angeles, it's a show every second of your day. It's like the Kristen show. And it's so boring!"
. . .Stewart confesses she wasn't a fan of the Twilight books before taking the role of Bella Swan, but she believes the character is one of the more relatable in the vampire genre. "You're so very much with Bella. You're so in her shoes that it's a vicarious experience. It's addictive."
. . .Because she has difficulty switching into interview speak, Stewart has been accused of seeming indifferent or too-cool-for-school. "I spend so much of my time guarding against sounding insincere about something that I would die for," says the actress. "Maybe I'm overcompensating.... I care so much. And it gets reported as the opposite."

Sydney Morning Herald interview Rob:". . ."I just don’t take any of it seriously. It’s just a job and while it’s a job I love, girls scream out for Edward, not Robert. I still can’t get a date.”
Pattinson has been peddling this line for months. He won't fess up to dating Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella. . .
The real reason Pattinson is so calm is simple: "I'm not the lead in the second film. Taylor [Lautner] is." He grins idiotically. "I appear in Bella's dreams. So I'm in it but the focus is not on me. I just have significant moments at the beginning ... and the end. So I'm more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free. . . I think I did it better without all those pressures." . . ."

Twilight-Review.com interviewed Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen):". . .TSR.com: What was your first impression of Twilight when you auditioned?
AG: I never thought is would be something as big, as huge at it is. Twilight is like WOW. I thought it was going to be great and everything, I thought it was going to be something like Scary Movie-famous, but I never thought it was going to be this big, like… don’t know… Harry Potter-famous. Transformers… don’t know. I don’t know if you get my idea, but is awesome being part of something like Twilight and the Saga.
TSR.com: What’s your favorite book in the series?
AG: I’m between New Moon and Eclipse. But I love them all.
TSR.com: Are you Team Edward or team Jacob?
AG: Ughhhh… harsh. I really really adore Rob and Edward’s awesome, but I’m Team Jacob. Is just… You gotta love Taylor, he plays an amazing Jacob, so… my heart belongs to him. Hahaha!
TSR.com: Once you had the role of Alice Cullen, how did you prepare for the role?
AG: I read the book, read my script and talked to Stephenie. She helped me to create the current Alice.
TSR.com: In New Moon Alice plays a larger than in Twilight and a new style. Are you happy with how Alice is evolving in the saga?
AG: Of course! That’s why I like NM and Eclipse more than Twilight and BD! Hahahaha! Kidding. Is awesome, but that also means I have more lines to learn! But I love it, I love my job so, everything’s great.
TSR.com: Are there any traits or similarities between yourself and Alice?
AG: We’re both tiny. Hahaha! Well, Alice’s one happy kid, and I’m a happy person too. I’m like smiling all the time and I really don’t like to see people sad so, I make them laugh and everything. I’m really into fashion, but Alice kick my butt x10 times. She’s a fashionista and I love it. I love her fashion sense and, I want her closet!
TSR.com: Do you think you can relate to Alice? What do you admire most about Alice? Where are you most different?
AG: We really look alike. She’s a loyal girl and she loves her family and friends and I’m like that. I would do everything for them. Now… different… hmmm. She has a boyfriend, I don’t. Hahahaha! . . ."

. . . from the New Moon Illustrated Movie Companion:**In all the “vision” sequences Edward is wearing the same outfit he does when he said “goodbye” to Bella because that is the last memory she holds of him.
**Even the cameras used and their movements are done to show the relationship between the characters.
**They scouted many locations for the Cullen house, but found one that “was comparable enough with the house in Portland.”
**The Cullen house used for Twilight was “a very specific house, and the only way out of that puzzle for us was to put portions of the story of New Moon in other parts of the house”.
**One special challenge for the production team was how to convey Bella’s depression once Edward departs. In the books..the month pages do it. (October, November, December, January) In the film the passage of time is represented with visual effects. Bella sits in her chair in the bedroom and a camera circles around here while the seasons change outside her window.
**As a sign that Bella is committed to Edward her clothes are linked to his color wise. After he leaves she doesn’t pay much attention to her appearance.

On November 20, similar sounds will be heard as the sequel, NEW MOON, bares its teeth—and claws—at 12:01 a.m. via Summit Entertainment.
“There’s something for everyone this time around,” screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg (DEXTER) says during a break from yet another long day in the TV series’ writers’ room. “NEW MOON, as directed by Chris Weitz, looks amazing. There’s definitely more conflict going on.”
In the center of that conflict is high-school heroine Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart).
